THE MOST BIZARRE DESIGNS TO GRACE THE RUNWAY

The runway has been the birthplace of a whole lot of trends. 

In a spark of genius - or màdness, designers often the out of their way to design the strangest of designs that have made their mark in the fashion world. 

Here's our list of the most bizarre designs to grace the runway.

1. THE ACCORDION MALE WEAR

1. The famous Accordion male outfit is quite popular among designers, but for the wrong reasons.

2. This gets the gold for being a perfect hands-on outfit doesn't it?

I don't know if the design was meant to be fingers wrapped all over you for warmth, or some form of self love and hugs.

3. The Big Man!

When I first stumbled on this design, I couldn't help but stare - but not in awe. In unbridled three piece horror.

I mean, this could go above the coat that goes above the blazer that goes above the suit. It's quite classy if you stare at it long enough.

4. Talk about hanging from the heights of creativity. 

I think I'd name this one Angel Shiny Cross lights thingy...

5. I think Versace's Medusa finally let her snakes free. They roamed onto this outfit.

6. Talk about an outfit that is out of this world. But wait, where would I keep my hands?

7. The most eco-friendly of them all. This outfit was designed as a tribute to the endangered species. 

8. Even on a list of bizarre outfits, this still stands out. The fluffy white suit is reminiscent of an astronaut's gear. I don't see how I'm supposed to walk in this anyway.

9. The big eye? What's the eye-dea?

10. This design was a protest against dumping if plastic waste in waterbodies.
