ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT WEDDING GOWN STYLES

A proper wedding gown should make you the Queen of your entire audience, captivating your groom with a simple smile and a flattering look.
There are a plethora of options when it comes to making a choice, with tons of options lying around in stores everywhere you turn. But then, nothing seems to sit right. When it eventually does, you're bothered if it suits you.
That alone could be a bugger, and here at Duffie, we know no bride should go through this much stress.
So here's a list of wedding gown styles you'd need to make that decision as early as you need to.

WEDDING GOWN STYLES

There are six main wedding gown styles. Most designers tend to combine several styles into one nowadays, but it is rare to find a style that strays far from these six.

The six styles are,
1. A-Line
2. Trumpet
3. Column
4. Mermaid
5. Tea Length
6. Ball Gown

1. A-LINE

As you guessed, the A-line dress is named after the letter A because it has a fitted bodice through to the waist and then becomes fuller from the waist down to the hem. The main difference between this style and the traditional ballgown is that the skirt is less pouffy and widens more gradually than the former.

Pear-shaped and hourglass brides are especially well-suited to this look. The A-line silhouette skims over the hips, making the waist appear smaller and drawing attention to the bust. Petite brides who avoid strapless gowns can use them to lengthen their bodies.

2. TRUMPET
This simple gown offers a glamorous look without much clout.
Perfect for slender ladies, its posh appeal can be redesigned in different alluring patterns.

3. COLUMN
The two-step pattern could easily be named the gown of the gardens. It seats easily with garden weddings, especially lilies and rose-themed ones!

4. MERMAID

This gown is as it's name speaks.
Crafted for hourglass-shaped ladies, this gown highlights curves. It is corset toned to trim the waistline and accent the hips.

5. TEA-LENGTH

The most modern of all styles is the Tea length. It allows for a bold pop culture styled look.

6. BALLGOWNS
The most traditional since we were little. Remember watching cartoons and dreaming of walking down the aisle with prince charming?

This gown is primed to heavily accent your hips and in most cases, plush some cleavage.
